You can believe in your mind that Jesus exists, but the have a relationship with Him, you must ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Romans 9:10 tells us that "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"

ADMIT THAT YOU NEED A SAVIOR.
We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin separates us from God, but the grace of God welcomes us back. There is nothing that you can do that will make God love you more, and there is nothing you can do to make God love you less.
